Under Section 12 of the Customs and Excise Act of 1938 and with the governor's consent the Commissioner for Finance directs that from midnight October 31 1945 Forteau Labrador be closed as a customs port of entry. J C Howell Secretary for Customs acts on 22 October 1945.
