The Polish government in London dropped the allegation that 10,000 Polish officers were massacred and buried near Smolensk by Russians. The dispute centered on wartime casualty claims and alleged mass graves, with no further action planned.

The Salvation Army announces a full day of activities with an 11 a.m. holiness meeting followed by a 2 p.m. Sunday School and Bible session and a 3 p.m. Mother's Day service. Evening programs include a 6 30 p.m. March event, 7 p.m. salvation meeting, 10 30 a m devotional service, 3 p.m. Sunday School, 6 30 p.m. prayer, and 7 p.m. evangelistic service. All are welcome.

The obituary notes the death of Rob ert Moore aged 65 plus, a long time resident who passed at 2 PM after a brief illness at his home near Pack Parkour. He leaves a wife and five daughters and three sons, with siblings and relatives in Sydney and North America. Funeral was at NSW United Church with interment at Bear Berry Head Cemetery. Sympathy extended to bereaved families.
The Alexandra Hall performance of Lena Rivers drew a full house with visitors from nearby settlements. Dr. Olds thanked the public for supporting hospital restoration as proceeds from admission, about $1500, benefit the Hospital Equipment Fund, aided by the Hustlers Club. A pig raffle raised $275 net with over 300 tickets sold, tickets at 50 cents.
Theophilus Inge died at the arm on Thursday after a long illness. Funeral services were held Saturday at the United Church.
