Arm Lads stage fine program for Brigade event
At the Armory the Arm Lads under Capt. Theodore Jenkins presented a fine program of Songs and Drills raising proceeds of 65. Ice cream and candy were sold. Capt Edward Vardy of Hickmans Hr reported activity in Conception Bay and Carbonear where four motor boats were sold and 15 to 20 more ordered. Boat building was brisk at Coley’s Point.
