Rev C H Freake of the Salvation Army invites all to Sunday meetings at Manuel's Cove. The program includes Sunday School and Bible Class for youth and adults with Holiness meetings and a midweek salvation meeting led by Capt. and Mrs. G Barle assisted by Lieut. De Meo.
A brief church notice records a morning devotion and Sunday School prayer led by the assembly and Mrs C R Rowsell. An evangelistic service is announced following the devotion.
The notice announces a sale starting at 5 30 in the evening and teas including cold meat and salad served at 6 00 for 65 cents.

Four Twillingate delegates Messrs Cecil Simms Chesley Pelley Arthur Flynn and Capt Andrew Greenham with two from Herring Neck left Thursday evening for Lewisporte via the Main Tickle and Summerford. A plane delay and fog forced them to arrange their own travel after instructions to await Gander’s arrival. Gander reports ski planes will not fly this season due to unsafe pond ice.
The Shubert Co invites pelts including muskrats squirrels mink white fox red fox at top grades with prices up to 65 for mink and 75 cents for squirrels. Ship with no export permit to the St. John’s Receiving Office or Winnipeg. Also notice of Bluff Head Cove School sale on April 5.
