Obadiah Young died on Thursday at South Side aged 80. Funeral services were held at the South Side United Church conducted by Reverend Laite today.
The fragment records Holy Communion Matins and Evensong times for Qasyer Day and mentions clergy such as Rev Laite and John Elliott serving on North and South Sides and Little HR 230. Evensong not held at S Andrew's.
A small event at Alexandra Hall on April 2 offers reserved seats for 25 cents and general admission for 15 cents. The program promises light entertainment and treats like ice cream and candy for attendees.
A concert will be staged at Central Superior School on Tuesday April 10. Doors open at 7 pm with reserved seats 20 cents general admission 15 cents children 10 cents. Ice cream and candy will be sold. After the concert a basket social will raise funds for the school.
We thank Dr. Olds and Staff of Memorial Hospital for their loving care to our son and brother Arthur Victor until his death. Thanks to those who sent wreaths and sprays for the casket and those who helped us in every way. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Sharpe and Family.

The Tumult is postponed to April 5 at Herring Neck to be staged for the L.O.A. in their ball. Mr. Rose and his co workers seek further support to boost educational funds.

Samuel Clarke long a Campbellton resident formerly of Back Harbour died suddenly on the 22nd from heart failure. He was among the town’s oldest residents and known as an industrious and honorable citizen at age seventy.
