Twillingate Fire Insurance Co. Ltd announces an extraordinary meeting of shareholders at their office on March 20 at 3 p.m. to consider the Fire Claim Hospital Cottage. Secretary P Moores signs the notice dated March 10 1939 from Twillingate.
A public notice requests reserving Thursday, April 20, for T.A.A. particulars to be announced later.
The Agricultural Division will stop supplying a purchasing service for buyers of young pigs. Local breeders and swine clubs now meet much of the demand and importing service is available. Information on prices and sources will be provided on inquiry. March 10, 1939, J. G. Howell acting secretary.
Statutory notice requires all creditors or claimants against the estate of Peter Grimes late of Twillingate to send written, attested particulars to Joseph White Administrator by March 31, 1939. After that date the administrator will distribute the estate considering remaining claims. Dated Twillingate February 27, 1939.
A big red harmless Irish setter with a leather collar and Maine license is missing. A reward of $15 is offered for its return to Dr R S Kexe at the hospital.
