The Crow Head and North Side Sunday Schools and Bible Class will install officers and teachers during the night service. The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be administered.
On Saturday night Rev T J Pitt united George Stockley with Vera Woodford of Herring Neck. On Wednesday night Rev T T Pitt wed Bennett Elliott to Nellie White.
The notice promotes Newfoundland members joining the Cooperative Credit Society to save small deposits and borrow at fair rates. The Women’s Association held its fortnightly meeting in the Church Ventry on Tuesday afternoon and decided to host a Social on St Patrick’s night. Members favored an afternoon gathering to aid distant members and show consideration for those living far from the Church.
The Men's Association met Tuesday night with President B H Butt presiding. Rev J Pitt presented a paper on David Livingstone emphasizing his role as a missionary and noting his immense contributions to discovery and exploration.
Mr Arthur Anstey from St John s arrived Tuesday and has served as a fireman aboard the Dredge Priestman since September. Waler Jenkins came to town from Moreton s Hr last week.
