A notice outlines amendments to Section 24 on cod traps and Section 28 on herring sets for Newfoundland and dependencies. It proposes banning traps with mesh under four inches after Jan 1 1937 and forbidding import or manufacture of smaller mesh after June 1 1935, plus restricting herring set mesh to two and three quarters inches after Oct 31 1936 to let immature fish escape. Public comments to Secretary of the Department by April 30, 1935.
