Police Constables Sued For Wrongful Arrest Damages
Two women sue for $3,000 each alleging wrongful arrest and imprisonment after a raid on Goodridge Street seeking liquor. One writ also seeks $1,000 for assault claiming a wall was struck and an arm injured. The mother also sues for $3,000 for similar claims and clothing damages. The cases stem from a police search prosecuted before Magistrate Browne.
