A seaplane owned by Newfoundland Skyways Ltd a subsidiary of Labrador Mining and Exploration Co landed at Quidi Vidi Sunday morning from Montreal via Sydney and Harbour Breton. Pilots J Wade T Sims and mechanics W A Turner H Ross were aboard. They left Montreal Friday and hoped to reach Quidi Vidi Saturday night but weather forced Harbor Breton landing. Ongoing aerial survey work began in 1936 with Weaver Minerals Ltd granted rights to Labrador.
