Ashbournes Ltd launches 30 ton fishing schooner at Chappel Island
Ashbournes Ltd reports a 30 ton fishing schooner launched at Chappel's Island last week built by Messrs Burt and now fitting up at Summerford named Robert Gordon. The Burlington build by Eleazer Mills is 10164 tons named Lone Flyer. A daughter of the late Benjamin Smith, Mrs Ned Inder, resides at Sprugdale. Schr Edna Louise, Capt William Bulgin, arrived from Port Union to Ashbourne's Ltd with a load of salt.
