Castoria is advertised for sale at all dealers in Newfoundland with Gerald S. Doyle Ltd as sole agent. The notice highlights availability through the Newfoundland market channels and identifies the exclusive distributor.
The April 13 1931 Legislative Council session notes bills read a third time including the American Telephone and Telegraph Company Bill and the Summary Jurisdiction Amendment Bill. Several bills on canning rabbits grading potatoes and turnips dog keeping telegraph tax life insurance and securities progress through committee stages. The session also records a motion by Hon. Sir Tasker Cook to confer with the House of Assembly on the King's address and welcomes Captain Kean back from the icefields.
