Lost schooner Stanley Parsons feared lost near Cape Bonavista
The schooner Stanley Parsons from St John's to Little Bay Island, left December 12, is believed lost after likely striking the Harry off Cape Bonavista. The crew included Sidney Parsons master Thomas Kerwin and son James May and son Cecil Hallett passenger Alwin, all from Lush's Bight. The 80 ton vessel belonged to Strong's Rd and Capt Parsons.
