A doctor examines an X ray film on a view box to assess tuberculous infection. The X ray remains the main aid in diagnosing tuberculosis, a disease that kills 60,000 Americans annually, with Christmas Seals fund drives supporting tuberculosis associations nationwide.
Bulgin entered hospital at Twillin gate recently and Mr Frank Brown was discharged. Christmas concerts were held at the U C Schools in Strong's Io Summerford West and in the Central United on December 71st 220d and 23rd respectively. The Salvation Army held their Concert and Tree in Summerford Weet on December 24th with strong patronage and enjoyment.

A Summerford correspondent reports mid December moose hunters from the settlement scoured the Birchy Hay and Calt’s Nose areas. Moose sign was plentiful yet animals were disturbed before arrival. Recent visitors include Mrs H Powell of Happy Adventure who spent three weeks with her daughter Mrs Dove.
