St Peter's Lodge No 12 of the Society of United Fishermen held its anniversary on Thursday. The event opened at 1 30 p m and included a 2 45 post service visit to the N S United Church where Rev T J Pitt led a sermon on bearing one another's burdens. About 28 members attended due to overseas service and illness. The Brethren visited Bro Samuel Austey and Past Master Arthur Manoue, with sympathy sent to Bro William Freeman. An evening reception hosted over sixty guests featured games and dancing.
