Newfoundland Fire Relief Fund Grows with Substantial Donations

The Mansion House Fund for St Johns Newfoundland relief totals 14335 pounds with 12000 remitted. Donations include Bank of England 105, Grocers Company 250, Skinners Company 105, and others. a further 2000 pounds ordered to be remitted. A Royal Enfield detach ment to St Johns was proposed and a naval loan discussed. Public meetings and aid efforts continue across Bermuda Bermuda and Montreal with ships delivering provisions.
