Vocational Institute to open courses for ex servicemen
Ex servicemen are invited to apply to the Lr Vocational Institute for Ex-Servicemen. A second course starts about November 4, 1946 with classes in Metal Machinists Diesel Engines Motor Mechanics Carpentry Electrical Work Plumbing and Sheet Metal Work. Sheet Metal Work class begins around November 1 1946 with selection from waiting lists. Applications from ex-servicemen may be obtained at the Department of Civil Re-establishment signed J A Cochran Director of Civil Re-Establishment.
