The honourable Sir William Horwood, Chief Justice, was sworn in this morning at Arbor Grace as Administrator of the Government in the Governor's absence by John Casey, acting Judge of the Harbour Grove District Court. The ceremony, held in the Court House, was attended by many residents. His Excellency has appointed Captain Goodfellow and Hon. R. Watson as Private Secretaries, and Captain Gerald Harvey and Captain A. B. Baird as A.D.'s.
