The couple Chesley Simms and Nellie Sharpe married Tuesday evening by Reverend T. J. Pitt at the N. S. United Church.
Motor boat about 22 feet in length offered for sale. Virtually unused and in prime condition. Interested parties should apply at this office for details and purchase arrangements.
On behalf of the family I wish to thank those who sent letters and cards of sympathy on the death of our mother. Also those who sent wreaths and sprays to adorn the casket. FRRDEgRICK LUNNEN.
Memorial note for Mrs Saul White who died April 13 1941. Daughters Florriz and Annie mourn a mother gone to rest and recall memories and grief. Friends and family express love and remembrance.

Agnes Gillard aged 68 passed away March 11 at Gillard's Cove after a brief illness. She leaves husband Elijah Gillard Sr, four sons Manuel John Isaac Bert, three daughters Bessie Lucy Lizzie and Annie plus twenty grandchildren. Funeral at Bluff Head Cove School with Rev T J Pitt sermon from Revelation 7 17 and interment at Rink Road Cemetery.
The minister Rev J Goodland visited parishioners at Moreton's Harbour last week and conducted services on Sunday.
The report announces restrictions on navigational lights around St. John's and nearby areas. Leading lights in St. John's harbour and Bay Bulls, Cape Rock buoy lights, Fort Amherst and related stations will be extinguished at night and lit only as needed. Bay Bulls light reduced to one third capacity. Port will close at night unless necessary, with minimal lighting. Fog signals remain in normal operation. R.
