Milkman in intoxicated assault at Lady St Germain's

James Spice a milkman of Thomas Street faced Mr Dyer on a charge of assault after pushing and abusing Lady St Germain and two other ladies in South Moulton Street. Spice defended himself with a cane after being struck, resulting in a severe thrashing. John Starshall an excavator on the London and Birmingham railroad faced charges of violently assaulting and attempting to stab James George a constable on duty at Primrose Hill near the tunnel. The constable prevented passage, the prisoner seized him by the collar and kicked him, requiring aid to detain him.

Prisoner Resists Police Attack in Street Confrontation
