Thomas Moore of Drayton faced magistrates for drunken disruption during Sunday service at Uxbridge church. He toppled into a pewless seat, incited noise, and attempted suicide by hanging in the church cage. After treatment, the bench fined him for drunkenness and ordered payment of incurred expenses.
Harriet Hillierd was brought before the Lord Mayor charged with obtaining poultry by false pretences. At Leadenhall Market a poultryman testified she ordered five ducks to the White Bear Tavern and later ten ducks to same house, using a boy as a cook and disguising as a respectable servant. A follow onlooker identified her as a common swindler. she claimed innocence and liquor influence. She was remanded.
In a London session, Abbott tackles a leg of pork theft claiming it was his own, while the lord mayor taunts him about a planned bake and penny for Petticoat Lane. Two other men, Hitham Waite and John Ford, face charges after a Countess of Lonsdale steamship stowaway drowning and tobacco recovery from the paddle-wheel.
Henry Holworth faced Mr Chambers and Mr Dyer on charges of instigating a mob to ill treat police. A drunken detainee was attacked while en route to the station, and Holworth denied knowledge of the man, refusing to name him. He was fined forty shillings.
James Turner a police constable of the D division faced a charge of audacious robbery after being found with geraniums on his person while climbing over a garden wall in Alpha road Regent's Park. Evidence showed a box of keys and a knife in a closet. the prisoner claimed intent to take plants but denied ownership of the other items. He was committed to hard labour in the House of Correction for six months.
In a Queen-Square case Mary Eccleston faced re examination on charges with Gregorie and White of robbing lodgings kept by Ann Griffiths. The dispute began after Eccleston slept in Griffiths room amid a quarrel in August and later missing items were traced to a broker and rug shop. Eccleston denied the charge and was remanded for completion of the case. Anne Murray also appeared at Worship Street charged with stealing a cat from Ellis.
John Webster a tackmaker faced charges of raping Mary Ann Timms a girl under ten in Catherine Street Lam beth. The girl testified she was lured with her sisters to Webster s house and assaulted after he sent the sisters out with halfpence. Surgeon Dr Thompson reported the child had a loathsome disease and syphilis in Webster, who denied the accusation. the sister-in-law corroborated him. Webster was committed on the capital charge.
Martin Flinn the elder Michael Flinn and Thomas Flinn faced re examination on charges of burglariously entering the Rainbow public-house in Queen Street Radcliffe and stealing ten silver spoons money wearing apparel and other articles from landlady Haangh Hickman The thieves climbed over a wall entered via a skittle ground after cutting a back door pane A boy passed through the opening and opened the door for others Police broke through barricaded doors and shutters arresting the family including Ellen Michael and Thomas Flinn The desk gouge and chisel were identified as tools used in the loot and the investigation noted prior break ins in the district The case revealed the Flinns as veteran burglars with easy money and frequenting skittle grounds while residing in a well supplied home The elder Flinn resisted police attempts to enter then opened the door under duress while the officers recovered tools and a newspaper with a Grimaldi anecdote linked to the crime

A mate died after drinking post trauma. others linger aboard the Dreadnought hospital ship. The brig is towed in for repairs.
