Between eight and nine on Thursday morning John Bennett of 23 Hanover street Neckingersond Bermondsey a principal locker at the Custom-house was run down by a cab driver crossing the Borough foot of London bridge. He suffered severe lacerations and loss of sight in the right eye. He was taken to St Thomas's Hospital in a dangerous condition.
