Fractured Rants and Essays In A Dublin Fray And Abroad

A reader transcribes a chaotic True Sun note on M Crea and church press vitriol in Dublin with assaults on Liberal editors, police escort threats, and a long digressive mix of poems, social scenes, and nostalgic items from The Monthly Magazine and Cooper on France. The piece also recalls Horace Walpole letters, a York election, Place Bills, and glimpses of Irish women in the British Legion and a quirky classroom portrait of the schoolmaster.
