Sudden Death on a Stage Coach at Dover Street

An inquest at St George's hospital examined Thomas Clements 40 of Prince's Street Mile End who suddenly fell from a Brentford coach in Dover Street on Monday. Blood flowed from his nose and mouth, he became insensible and died en route to the hospital. A son stated he was visiting a friend at Brentford. Verdict: apoplexy.
