Auction of Demesne Estate With Stabling and Grist Mill

A 70 000 ton per year estate auction advertised for November 24 1836 at twelve o'clock. The property includes a stone residence with stabling out-buildings and a thrashing machine plus a grist mill, watered by a stream. Land tax on the demesne pools redeemed. Auction held at the Auction Mart opposite the Bank of England with details available at multiple inns and solicitor offices.

France resumes trade and travel as Swiss note satisfies

The Interior Minister informed the Prefect of the Lower Rhine that Switzerland’s note satisfied the French government, allowing the suspension of commercial relations to end and the free passage of travelers to resume. Prohibitive measures on the roplter are being rescinded. Madrid advices note inactive Rodil and disrupted communications with Alaix, while Gomez and troops entertain themselves at Traxillo with bullfights. Don Carlos’s camp sees 400 Almaden prisoners released and uncertain troop directions. Cortes debates the committee report to end the civil war, with Acebo and Olozaga backing different views. Foreigners, chiefly English, continue crossing to Don Carlos’s camp, one man arrested at the frontier.
