Chelsea reform meeting at White Hart supports repeal effort

A large Chelsea Association meeting at the White Hart on King's Road urged repeal of house and window taxes. Speakers praised unity from Westminster to St George's, and members enrolled amidst applause. A censure of the Morning Advertiser was voted, while editors of True Sun received thanks. A Glynde church robbery targeting Hampden tablets led to the arrest of Thomas Taylor for trial at the next assizes.
