Earlier, about 9:30 a.m., a fire at Mr. Partridge’s coffee roaster shop at 16 Lower Whitecross Street was extinguished by Whitecross-street engine crews with limited damage. overheating coffee stock caused the incident. Partridge is insured with the San Fire office.
