Political Unions Criticized as Subversive to Crown Authority

House of Lords Schedules Widespread Petitions and Bills

In the Lords on June 27 Earl of Ripon moved for a conference with the Commons at 5:30 PM on the West India question and to send a message seeking the conference. Petitions from Liverpool Roman Catholics and Protestant Dissenters urged Catholic marriages law passage. A petition against changes to the Apothecaries Act was presented. Wales prayer for Welsh preaching by clergy, Gravesend Pier and other bills noted. Limitation of Actions and Freehold and Copyhold Estates bills passed committee. adjourned at 5:45 PM.

Political unions in the House of Commons debate
