Death by Starvation in St Giles Inquest

Tremendous Explosion Kills Three Men at Islington Market
Between eleven and twelve o clock on Thursday night a boiler explosion at a steam engine erected in the New Cattle Market Lower road, owned by Mr Perkins of Bletchingley, Surrey, blew the building to atoms. Three men, Robert Spinden, George Smith, and foreman Thomas Gellish, were found injured or dead near the site and were rushed to St. Bartholomew's Hospital. Police kept back the crowd as crews surveyed the wreck and injuries.
