Attending were OConnell Sheil Lord Dudley Stewart Colonel Stanhope Dr Wade and other political figures with Polish exiles present. Colonel Evans chaired praising the ample attendance and notable ladies seen as sign of public sympathy. The secretary read a lengthy report showing 1 047 already raised for exile relief. Lord Dudley Stewart moved the first resolution as the meeting continued.
