Parsonage Rate Collector Remanded on Embezzlement Charge
John Callahan, an elderly man recovering from a paralytic stroke, was brought before Mr. Minshull charged with embezzling more than 2000 as collector of parish rates for St. Paul Covent Garden. Tricks on a Pieman at Camden Town
James Roberts dubbed the Flying Pieman sued George Greenland after an encounter in Randolf Street Camden Town. Greenland and two others allegedly mocked the pies as cheap but tainted with cat meat. Conviction of Notorious Smugglers Gardner and Savile
Henry Gardner and John Savile, known to police, were convicted for possessing untaxed foreign tobacco on a brig in the City Canal.
