At Maidstone coroner Mr oX held inquests on Thomas Minter of Rev C H Hallett’s household in Patrysbourse parish. He died in his bed after illness. Verdict: died by the visitation of God. Also at Ashford Phillis Lacey wife of a Blacksmith died by suicide by hanging herself to a bed post. Coroner noted neck marks and mental unsoundness.
