Monkeys and murmuring toys and a sea in a tumbler
Fragmented notes discuss a child hearing a sea murmur through a tumbler and a weasel, then shift to natural history on old and new world monkeys. It contrasts a thumbs presence in Old World monkeys with a prehensile tail in New World species, citing Mr. St George Mivart. Then a humorous anecdote about a boy selling game and misusing traps, and miscellaneous modern shorthand on interviewing practices and advertising in trade.
