In the final for Country Week, Collie defeated Moora with a score of 4.13 to 4.3. A local observer noted Moora had chances but failed to convert, while Collie’s forward work secured the win. Quarter scores show Collie 2 6 25 4 73 and Moora 1 3 4 23 3 1 .
In Perth last Saturday South Fremantle defeated East Perth by 3 points after an exciting semi final. Final scores show South Fremantle leading with late goals while East Perth, as minor premiers, retain the right to challenge the winners in the final.

In a House debate on postal appropriation, the Country Party urged profits from the Post Office be used for country services. They proposed a £2,245,000 appropriation from the loan schedule presented last week.
The Country Party leader Dr Earle Page urged treating the Post Office as a self contained department with annual profits placed in a trust for future development. He noted five year profits of £5,071,000 with £2,880,000 spent on new works and £3,569,000 taken by the Treasury. The government opposed the amendment and it was lost.
