A public meeting in Bolgart discussed reorganizing the cricketing club into a three-team association for the coming season with Bolgart district to join. A public meeting is planned for October 4 to review the scheme, with A B Stone as president and J McGill as secretary.
The New Norcia Board met at the Board's office on September 12 with J. McClune as chairman and members from North and South Wards present. Minutes of prior meetings were read and confirmed, and the August financial statement was read and adopted.
Correspondence notes several road and fencing requests across locations including East Carani road and Melbourne Location 1773. Motions to assent to closures and openings proceed, with inspections promised for Melbour ne 307 to Piawaning and Corondeen State School access requests.
Waters cleared Igiti Carani road at 4 9 per chain and M Murphy gravelling West Mogumber road at 48 per chain. Other tenders for Gillingarea Mogumber were rejected as too high. Board to meet on the second Monday each month except July when the meeting is moved to the first Saturday for striking rates under the Road District Act.
Tenders for Vermin Inspector were unsatisfactory due to high bids and weak qualifications. The post was merged with Traffic Toapee tor Collector of Licenses and Road Works supervisor at a fixed £5 weekly. Applications invited. retainable on October 9 1925. Accounts of £770 15s 1d passed for payment.
