Masthead Sires Buy Boosts Wallaby Stud Prestige
Masthead, a top English staying four year old, is purchased by E A Underwood to stand at Wallaby Stud alongside Dhoti and Helios. The deal, noted as one of the most expensive Australian purchases, aims to raise the standard of riding horses. Mackinnon of Melbourne agents earlier sourced Neapolitan for Derby connections, with Lord Derby signaling availability. Masthead’s form earns praise from Phil Bull as possibly the best staying three year old after Sayajirao, likely to excel beyond two miles.
