The Annual Meeting of Ratepayers will be held in the Road Board Chambers, Stirling Terrace, Toodyay, on Thursday 27 February 1936 at 8 pm. Business includes the financial statement for year ended June 1935 and the Government Inspector's report. Any other business may arise. by order of the Board CHAS ALDAY Secretary.
The Toodyay Local Board of Health enters a two year contract from March 1936 with Joan William Wilson for night soil disposal, refuse removal, and liquid waste services in Central Ward. Fees fixed include per pan night soil, 2d. four cubic feet refuse 6d. bulk rubbish 4½d. liquid waste 10d per 100 gallons. rates payable to Wilson with power to sue for arrears. CHAS. The February meeting of the Toodyay Road Board was held in the Board Chambers on Saturday 8 February with full attendance except Mr E E Twine. Items covered include minutes confirmation, correspondence on hall hire, Wattening Siding frontage to trim corner, West Toodyay Bridge, insurance and loans for electric lighting, traffic signs, public pound repairs, revision court, returning officer, ratepayers meeting, dog licenses, car license refund, sanitary services, immunisations, health inspector reports, condemned building demolition, vermin control, and Waters Road boundary fencing. The meeting concluded at 5:43 pm.
