A crowded Friday community concert by the C W A veterans drew strong attendance with performances by a harmonica band and a trio of brass artists from Northam, plus songs by Miss Reid of Perth. Mrs W O Meara conducted. gifts were announced to several named individuals. The local Boy Scouts troop is non sectarian, and Girl Guides remain under Mrs Dave Smith. The Road Board monthly meeting is set for Saturday at the Stirling Terrace office.
