Business Tour by Aero Plane in Victoria
Piloted by F L Roberts of Roberts Aircraft Service and Baden H Powell of Semco Art Needlework Company, the pair left Essendon at 9 am on 21 July for a three week tour visiting about 30 country towns in Victoria's north and north west. Fuel and oil arrangements are by Shell. The venture aims to boost commercial aviation, with Roberts a veteran owner pilot. The same Gypsy Moth used on this flight recently flew to Charleville to meet Miss Amy Johnson.
