Anzac Day observances planned with two services at Memorial Park. The dawn service at 6am gathers in Clinton Street, public asked to be there by 5.45am, wreaths directed by a marshal. The 3pm service follows a parade from the Post Office to the park led by the Northam Salvation Army Band.

About 20 cyclists from Northam Goomalling and local riders will compete in open events, with several first time pedestrians entering races. A Toodyay Sub Branch deputation led by K Somers W Howie and M Millar discussed the matter, stating no hostility existed toward the Board and stressing service to the public. The exchange aimed to clarify misunderstandings and ended on a friendly note.
The Ancumi Agricultural Society met on 6 April and approved funds for fowl coops sheep pens and improvements. A plan to erect loose boxes and conveniences was discussed for the next show to aid draught horse exhibitors. On Wednesday the Kingfishers defeated the Rangers 2 0 at the Show Ground in the second season match. Goals were scored by A Sinclair and E Lahif. Best for Kingfishers were A Sinclair G Smith and K Donegan, with Rangers led by K Mackintosh J Smith and B Twine. Referee G Bates provided a fair display.
