The Recorder reports S P Grant, secretary treasurer for the Village School and other posts, fled Tisdale on a 12 day leave November 30. Missing funds and unrecorded books prompted a police warrant and an ongoing search for his whereabouts.
Returning Officer for the Rural Municipality of Connaught Haes lists reeve W. Edis aged 44 and council results by division. Acclaimed divisional councillors include F Hurry E B Lloyd J King and others with majorities recorded. by election results show shifts in divisions 3 4 5 6 and final tallies.
George Bray of Willow Hill hid a misfortune last week and received a kick from a bronche. The injury broke his leg just below the knee and required immediate medical attention.
Holiday schedule lists moving pictures at Homer's Hall on December 25 26 and 26 8 p.m. Special services in all churches on the 27th and a Methodist Sunday School Cantata on the 29th with programme at 7 30. A skating carnival for Red Cross funds is planned on the 31st and a Loyal Orange Masquerade Ball at 8 30 on the 1st.
A letter from Saly Army Winnipeg suggests sending rabbits to aid the poor without reducing support to soldiers. District committees and Grain Growers are involved. Adjutant Hanna of Forester arranged to pack and ship rabbits to Winnipeg, with railways offering free freight to Winnipeg for distribution.

Det 80 announces a Wednesday skating carnival with prizes upwards of $100 for winning competitors. The winners must donate the awarded amount to the Red Cross Fund. Posters will promote the event.
A singing school was organized at the Methodist Church in Tisdale on December 7 to develop local youth voice talent. Officers include President J C Sibley and Sec Treas Miss Stella Campbell. Mr Hay will conduct and teach, with 25 plus signups. dues are 3 dollars for 18 lessons, classes meet Saturdays 7 to 830 pm.
A special Christmas service is planned at the Met Church next Sunday evening featuring a musical program with choir, soloist Mr F Hey, and a sermon by the pastor on The Meaning of Incarnation. A brief song service closes the meeting.
