Japanese Forces Capture Port Arthur Forts In Battle

From Port Arthur dated Nov 22 191- Lieutenant Oyama reports the Japanese army attacked forts near Port Arthur on Nov 21 capturing Fort west of the artillery parade ground by 8 30 am. The right division seized Fort Robinson and the left division took a fort southeast of Hazlvise. By Nov 22 all remaining forts were taken. Enemy casualties are about 200 killed or wounded. over twenty thousand enemy troops involved with large quantities of ammunition and cannon seized.

Severe Sicily quake destroys villages leaves homeless
