EI changes introduced by Trevor Busch in Parliament
A new Helping Families in Need Act creates EI benefits for parents facing tragedy or illness in the family. It would allow sick leave during parental benefits, protect jobs if a child dies or is missing from a crime, and provide an income support grant.
