Haven Safe Haven Now Open 24 Hours in Taber

The Taber Safe Haven is operating around the clock after funding became available. Since a 1996 initiative by social sector professionals and concerned citizens, the shelter aims to keep people from returning to abusive situations by offering overnight residence. Four women and six children had previously been turned away, and staff anticipate a major positive impact for those in need in the area.

Solberg backs merger of Canadian Alliance and Tory party

Medicine Hat MP Monte Solberg notes some challenges from a Progressive Conservative Canadian Alliance merger but sees benefits.
