Capsule of Life program may come to Taber

A review of the Capsule of Life project in Picture Butte is discussed as Taber considers adoption. The initiative, sponsored by local groups, uses sealed capsules with medical data for emergencies and would start around the Taber Christmas telethon if implemented.

Fifth annual food drive boosts Taber food bank aid

The fifth annual drive organized by Arnold and Matilda Van Huizen drew 102 participants and collected about 4 662 pounds of food, with fall campaigns drawing more families and parents. Volunteers covered nearly all of Taber, aligning giving with Thanksgiving and boosting shelves ahead of colder months.
