Taber to Host Olympic Torch Celebration Jan 17
Taber prepares for a first of its kind community event as part of Vancouver 2010 Torch relay. Dr. Gerald Beckie, nominated by the local committee and approved by VANOC, will light the caldron on the community stage. The celebration marks Taber as one of 189 towns hosting such events on the 106 day journey.
