Unlicensed Taber tattoo parlour shut by AHS in Taber

Alberta Health Services closed Shawn Stewart tattoo facility in Taber for operating without a licence and unsafe infection control. Public health officials say patrons may need Hepatitis B and C or HIV testing. call HealthLink Alberta or local health lines to arrange tests and guidance.

MD complains about bridge funding in Taber area

At the May 11 meeting Don Johnson and MD council pressed Alberta Transportation on bridge funding for southern Alberta. Officials said funding is limited, prioritization is needed, and 2010 2011 2012 budgets were slashed from 25 27 million to 21 million with plans to redirect toward highest priority bridges.
