Landlord group protests Town water bylaw shift
At the April 25 town council meeting the Christakes delegation opposed Combined Utility Bylaw i-2010 which shifts water and waste utility bill responsibility from renters to landlords. They warned the change will increase renter default and erode public service, urging a return to prior rules.
