Longtime Horizon School Division leader Wilco Tymensen to retire
Dr Wilco Tymensen will retire as Horizon School Division superintendent in August after a 30 year career in education starting in Coaldale and Taber. He credits a supportive board and senior leadership team, highlights community programs, and plans to move with his wife to Fernie British Columbia for a calmer lifestyle and outdoor pursuits.

Taber Public Library restarts its Summer Reading Program themed Under the sea above the stars and beyond with Mackenzie Mortimer and Vickie Dueck guiding weekly activities. The free program serves ages 5 to 14, runs Tuesday to Friday, and includes stories games and snacks in a welcoming setting.
