Taber ready for flood risk after heavy rainfall
Public services director says Taber will be prepared if the flood flood term returns after more than an inch of rain caused flooded streets and water in homes. Staff monitored roads and set barricades with help from Brad Mason's emergency services volunteers, and Horizon School Division offices were pumped to prevent flooding.

Park reopens as water recedes after heavy rainfall
M D of Taber Park crews pumped out floodwater for the third time after over an inch of rain Friday. Park manager Derrick Krizsan said two group use areas and the day use area should open by Wednesday afternoon, with 15 new camp spots usable while the east-end 65 sites remain closed for reclamation work and silt removal.
